The Group

The Technology and Governance group is located within ETH Zurich’s Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences (D-GESS). It was established in 2022 and investigates the use of digital technologies in the public sector and its effects on governance. A particular focus is given to the implementation of data-driven and algorithmically mediated tools in security organizations and their effects on knowledge production and social ordering.
